LUNCH TICKET PROCEDURES 1. Lunch tickets are purchased on Monday morning during 1st hour class. The cost of a ticket for the week is $12.50 ($2.50 per day). For students in Pre-K through 6th grades, this cost includes a drink consisting of milk or juice. For students in grades 4 - 6, milk or juice will be provided with the meal. However, students in these grades wishing to purchase a soft drink can do so for .50 cents. Students in 7 - 12 must purchase their drink separately as it is not included in the cost of the meal.
2. Credit will be given for missed meals when a child is sick. However, the unused lunch ticket must be turned in the following Monday to get credit for the missed day. If you know ahead of time that your child will be absent, deduct $2.50 for each day that will be missed. Also, if school holiday occurs, be sure to deduct $2.50 for each day the student will not attend school. Credit will only be applied on the next week’s ticket. Money will not be refunded to the student.
3. If a student is absent or tardy on Monday, then he/she must go to the Business Office upon returning to school to purchase a lunch ticket for the remainder of the week.
4. Damaged Tickets: Tickets accidentally washed will be replaced. The student must present the remaining ticket pieces to the Business Office before school or at first recess. The master lunch list will be checked to ensure a ticket was purchased by the student for that week, and the ticket will be reissued. If the student has no ticket pieces remaining, he/she must purchase a replacement ticket for $1.00 for each day left in the week.
5. Lost Tickets: If a student forgets or loses his/her lunch ticket, he/she must go to the Business Office and purchase a replacement ticket for $1.00 for each day left in the week.
6. Students in grades 5 - 12 wishing to eat the alternative selection of the day should notify the lunchroom before the start of the school day or no later than first recess. Students in Pre-K - 4 should tell their teacher.
